In order to sustain life on Mother Earth, Varuna Bhagavan provides adequate supply of water in the form of seasonal rains. Vayu Bhagavan's blessings in the form of wind provides life-giving oxygen to all beings. Heat and light which preserve and protect Mother Earth are the benign blessings of Agni Bhagavan. Likewise each of the divinities shower their blessings on this planet to render it a hallowed abode for man. The boon conferred by Indra and the other gods together on the humans is good fortune. Just as the rainfall from the sky does not get evenly distributed everywhere always and the heat and light of the Sun- god are not experienced always in all places in equal measure, the great gift of good fortune also does not get evenly distributed. Those who are blessed with good fortune in great measure live long, experiencing good health, enough riches and enjoying all the pleasures that life can offer. The one who performs Yaga chanting the perfect result - yielding Bhagya Suktha Maha Manthra prescribed by the Rig Veda earns the grace of Lord Indra and becomes eligible for uninterrupted shower of good fortune throughout his life. Naturally the one who is blessed with good fortune will have all his wishes fulfilled. In order to attain this state the devotees are advised to partake in Bhagya Suktha Maha Manthra Yaga.
