Astrological Remedies

Nothing in this universe is ever destroyed nor does anything that was not in
existence so far, gets created afresh. What occurs is a mere transformation
in form and content of the ever-existing, in accordance with the rules of
Time. You witness the Sun and the Moon this day; they disappear as ordained
by Time and re-emerge the next day. Similar is the case with the fauna and
the flora. The Hindu mythology abounds in lucid data and evidence to confirm
this theory of re-emergence or re-birth.
The subsequent birth of a human being will be determined and conditioned by
the quantum of good (punya) and evil (papa) he has accumulated in the
current birth. One who has a larger quantum of good to his credit in the
current life will be blessed with re-birth at an auspicious moment with a
lucky horoscope. His sojourn on this planet in that subsequent life will be
a pleasant experience. On the contrary, if in the current life one has built
up a larger accumulation of evil, he will take his next birth at an
inauspicious moment and his subsequent life is bound to be a period of
ordeal.
The theory of Astrology lays stress on the fact that as and when a new birth
or a re-emergence takes place, the actual position of planets and stars at
the moment of birth determines the fate of the new-born and its future
course of existence. And hence the possibility of prediction of the course
of life of a new-born on the basis of analytical study of the planetary
position at the moment of its birth. As the baby emerges from the womb of
its mother and touches the ground, the influence and power of the stars and
planets in their then existing position exert their hold on the baby and
shape its future. What is commonly referred to as horoscope, fate etc, is
nothing but a clear reading of the planetary position at the moment of birth
and its effect on the baby's life.
According to Astrology horoscope provides an insight into the future, as yet
unknown and nebulous course of one's life, just as a flame of light reveals
the contents of a dark chamber. A horoscope constructed on the basis of
accurate time, exact place and actual location of birth will clearly predict
the fate and course of life of the concerned individual.
The nine planets (navagrahas) through their positioning at the time of birth
of a baby predetermine all the experiences that the baby is fated to undergo
in the course of its sojourn on this earth. The navagrahas will not confer
only good things on any individual nor will they confer only bad things on
anyone. But the location of certain planets in certain positions is likely
to cause an overburden of trials and tribulations on the concerned
individual. Indian Astrology does not remain content with identifying the
problems; it also suggests appropriate remedies..
Whatever evil effects are likely to occur during the reigning and declining
period of each planet can be determined in advance through astrological
calculations and if appropriate remedial measures are undertaken in due time
the said evil effects will be nullified and the person will be relieved of
all sufferings; just as sandals and umbrella protect a pedestrian from the
oppression of torrential rain and oppressive heat, the practice of
scientific and time-tested remedies enunciated by Astrology secures an
individual against the evil effects caused by the phenomena of planetary
placement at the moment of his birth.
While astrological practice provides relief for evil effects of a general
nature, Thantric philosophy suggests permanent remedial measures for
problems of a specific nature, such as obstruction for marriage, not
begetting a child etc. The strict practice of Thantric remedial measures as
laid down in the Thantric system, evolved by the sages of yore after
accurate determination of the positions of each planet and after reckoning
their strengths and weaknesses is guaranteed to produce positive results.
While aiming at a particular target, it is necessary to study the horoscope
of the concerned individual and determine the strength of the particular
planet responsible for conferring the desired benefit, as also the possible
effect of the other planets on the course of the said planet and the
capability of the presiding planet to guide the individual to his goal.
Such an in-depth analysis will not only help one identify the particular
remedial measures to be adopted, but will also provide data on their
efficacy; just as a capable physician while conducting detailed examination
of his patient, determines the course of treatment to be followed and also
gets a clear idea as to how effective the treatment will be i.e. whether the
patient will fully recover or not.
Sometimes it happens that even if the physician is sure that the chances of
recovery of his patient are nil he still indulges in expensive treatment
merely with a view to earn money and after the demise of the patient, he
incurs the wrath and curse of the patient's relatives. Likewise those who

of the planetary position etc., merely with an eye on money are bound to
